To get a first impression, you can read the following letter from Amnon Shefi, the project leader, describing the first Graduation Event in 2016. The event this year was quite similar:.
A lovely Annual Graduation event
It is my great pleasure to update you all, that we had a very successful graduation event today. It was hosted by the Technion Grand Water Research Institute.
We had 20 classes represented and marvelous water and sanitation science projects presented. Teachers and students of all sectors of society joined and worked together, connecting Jews, Muslims and Bedouins, Christians, secular and religious. They presented models, posters, presentations, video and other media tools.
We had about 200 people including students, parents, teachers, school masters, and guest from government, industry, education system and of course the Rotary.
Attached is a video clip (see above) put together by Eyal Buzaglo, the science teacher of Brandes elementary school. He worked on the program with Suzana of the Episcopal elementary school in Shfaram.
This is a lovely opportunity to thank all the dear friends of the Rotary Hands Across Waters program, and mostly the Rotary and the Technion Grand Water Research Institute.
The program is becoming meaningful and noticeable more and more every year through your help and support.
