The Jerusalem Rotary Club...
... is one of over 30,000 Clubs in over 160 countries and geographic areas worldwide.
The club was founded on the 22nd of January 1929 and chartered by Rotary International on 11 March of the same year. It became the first Rotary club in what was then Palestine.
We are one of 60 Rotary clubs in Israel. It is the only English speaking club in the country. It counts 38 members, both Jerusalemites and from many different countries of origin, of diverse opinions and many faiths - Jews, Christians, Bahá’í and Muslims.
The club meets once a week on Wednesdays for lunch or dinner followed by a presentation
delivered by eminent speakers drawn from the wide selection of expertise available in the country.
The club belongs to District 2490, Israel

Rotary Ethics
Encouraging high ethical standards and respect for all worthy vocations has been a hallmark of Rotary from its earliest days. In their business and professional lives, Rotarians abide by
The Four-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do:
• Is it the TRUTH?
• Is it FAIR to all concerned?
• Will it build GOODWILL and
BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
• Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
